Workshop on Predictive Modeling using SPSS

EMPI Business School’s Vittal Centre for Management and Governance Informatics (VC-MaGtics), conducted a Management Development Program on 11th and 12th August, 2011 at EMPI Campus. The program, titled “Workshop on Predictive Modeling Using SPSS” was conceptualized, coordinated, organized and conducted by Prof. Ravi Sangal and co-facilitated by Dr. P. Sivakumar. The Workshop was conceptualized with the objective of enhancing the skills of young executives working in market research, analytics or in large user organizations. The intensive two day Workshop included case studies and hands on modules and was attended by executives from Bank of America, IMRB International, CMR, Mercer and others. The participants also had an opportunity to briefly meet and interact with Mr. Gurnam Saran, President, EMPI Group of Institutions over a cup of tea. The President also gave away the certificates to the participants. The Workshop received a very high rating, collected through a written feedback at the end of the program from all participants. More such programs are envisaged to be conducted in the near future.
