An intra College Business Quiz was organized at EMPI in the month of September, 2011. The Quiz had an overwhelming response with 92 students participating in 42 teams in the first round. The B-Quiz started with the elimination round wherein all teams’ participated and top ten teams were selected for the semi-final round. After an interesting semi final round 5 teams made to the finals. The scintillating event final took place on the evening of 20th Sep, 2011 at EMPI’s amphitheatre with jam-packed audience. The President, EMPI, all Head of Departments and faculty were present at the occasion to encourage the students. EMPI B-Quiz final took place in a very professional manner comprising of several rounds including audio- visual & rapid-fire rounds to test the business knowledge and acumen of the students. The evening was filled with a lot of thrill and excitement. Participants thoroughly enjoyed all the ten rounds of the Quiz. The quiz culminated with an electric Rapid fire Round. The knowledge disseminated through such an activity was immensely appreciated by all. Many questions were fired towards the audience for which they were rewarded. The Quiz Masters of the evening were Prof.(Dr.) G. Kathuria and Ms.Joita Sen.

 

The B-Quiz final was won by Mr. Rohit Dewal & Mr. Nitin Bordia, Mr. Asheesh P. Shukla & Mr. Nabajit Ghoshal bagged the second position. The third position winners were Mr. Sparsh Gupta & Mr. Rakesh K Mallick. Mr. Gurnam Saran, Honorable President of EMPI, addressed and motivated the students on the occasion. The event ended with Prof. G. Kathuria thanking the team of students and faculty who made this a memorable event.
