Mr. Ajay Gupta, Head , Category Management & Commercial , Spice Retail Business visited EMPI campus on 16th Nov, 2013 for corporate connect with the students. Mr. Gupta had an interactive session with the students and shared his corporate experience and discussed the operations in Retail Business. He shared his success journey and how he has reached his current position heading 650 retail outlets of Spice Hotspots selling Mobile phones, tablets and accessories.

 

He narrated his journey form the start and shared that he started from the grass root level i.e. the lowest level in the organization and could only reach his current position because of the experience he had and his understanding of the consumer market.

 

Mr. Gupta also shared the Retail Operation Business and the Supply Chain Management process. Besides he answered numerous queries about career options, promotional techniques and marketing strategy.
